We want the ui to be as simple and limiting as possible for this product. I think we want to do the following:
1) get rid of automatic prompt dialog on first run
2) change library location to ~/Pictures
3) automatically import ~/Pictures on each startup by creating "links"
4) we should show progress such that the user knows something is being done on startup

In addition we should remove the menu options for file import and import
related functions. If the user inserts a USB key we can show the dialog
asking if they want to import, but we should have it default to "make
links" and not even show this as an option.
