After more testing, let me correct my own bug description:

If the screen is touched at any position, the cursor will never jump to
that position. Only when the finger is moved the cursor jumps and the
Drag and Drop behaviour is correct.

I notice that dmesg says (but I don't know if it is related):

radeon 0000:01:05.0: DVI-D-1: EDID invalid.
