Installed 2.6.36-rc6-maverick mainline kernel. But no change in
behaviour.

** Summary changed:

- Touchscreen curser position doesn't jump
+ Touchscreen cursor position doesn't jump

** Description changed:

  Hardware:
  * Touchscreen monitor Packard Bell Viseo 200T
  * System: Acer Veritron M221

  The Viseo 200T monitor is reported to be supported by the kernel here:

  http://lii-enac.fr/en/projects/shareit/multitouch-devices.html

  Simple touchscreen support woks well in Ubuntu 10.04 with mainline
  kernel v2.6.34-lucid or v2.6.35-rc1-lucid. (does not work with default
  kernel)

  After upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10 beta the touchscreen behaves the following
  way:

  * Drag and Drop works well, cursor position is accurate
  * If cursor is on position A, simple clicking to position B will only SOMETIMES cause the cursor to jump to position B. Most of the time the cursor stays at position A.
- * IF the cursor jumps, then only SOMETIMES to the current finger position. Sometimes it jumps to previous cursor positions.
+ * IF the cursor jumps, then only SOMETIMES to the current finger position. Sometimes it jumps only to the last finger position.
