I have a bug in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx).
My usb hard drive was disconnected from system when in use. I was play video files from this drive and it self disconnect. Tested on 3 different usb hard drives with different cables. When drive intensively use (for example play video) it disconnect. It can work fine some time, but then can disconnect. This disconnection can destroy some data on this drive. Earlier on this computer was Ubuntu 8.04 and I never see this problem. Now I install new Ubuntu 10.04 and I see this problem some time.
This is dmesg output when drive was disconnected:

I disconnect and reconnect drive cable, but drive can't connect. Then I reconnect to other usb connector and drive was connected, but now it sdc device (earlier it was sdb). Looks like sdb device is in use, but it was disconnected.
Please help to correct this bug. If you need additional information write to me what you need.
