I found this bug while installing fresh Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) on
my box with three disks in SATA RAID 5 (fake raid).
Partman (using dmraid) fails to detect disks/partitions at all. dmraid
used directly (options -ay) complains about not finding kernel module
raid45. There is module raid456 in system though.
This seems to be well-known and old issue. In spite of that, I did not
manage to find any useful information how to work around this. I'm
filing this bug because it stops me from installing Ubuntu on my box and
it's obviously wrong installer behaviour.
If there is solution available to this problem, please let me know.
