Public bug reported:
This is on Lucid as of release, with kernel 2.6.32-22-generic from
lucid-proposed (not specific to this kernel version; it also happened
during the alpha stage).
The driver for the Atheros AR8132 / L1c ethernet card freezes the
computer when attempting to copy ~ 5GiB files over ssh/sftp. I can
reproduce this systematically by copying a 2.5GiB iso repeatedly. It
takes 2-3 copies to trigger the bug. Unfortunately the problem does not
get logged in any way.
I have tested this with the mainline kernel 2.6.33-02063303-generic too,
and the bug is still present there.
