(Sorry to double post !)
I configured wpa_supplicant with the relevant configuration information. Here are the final few lines from my run.

Trying to associate with 00:1a:1e:2b:9e:42 (SSID='Securewireless' freq=2437 MHz)
Authentication with 00:1a:1e:2b:9e:42 timed out.
Trying to associate with 00:1a:1e:2b:c3:62 (SSID='Securewireless' freq=2437 MHz)
Authentication with 00:1a:1e:2b:c3:62 timed out.
Trying to associate with 00:1a:1e:2b:cb:90 (SSID='Securewireless' freq=5240 MHz)
Associated with 00:1a:1e:2b:cb:90
WPA: Failed to get master session key from EAPOL state machines
WPA: Key handshake aborted
CTRL-EVENT-EAP-STARTED EAP authentication started
CTRL-EVENT-EAP-METHOD EAP vendor 0 method 25 (PEAP) selected
OpenSSL: tls_connection_handshake - Failed to read possible Application Data error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)
EAP-MSCHAPV2: Authentication succeeded
EAP-TLV: TLV Result - Success - EAP-TLV/Phase2 Completed
( ... 15-20 seconds pass ... )
CTRL-EVENT-EAP-SUCCESS EAP authentication completed successfully
l2_packet_receive - recvfrom: Network is down
CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED - Disconnect event - remove keys
