[Bug 120318] Integrated AUDIO and LAN does not recognized by installation

Hi I am totally new to linux and have installed Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft)
but my built-in sound and lan card doesn't work.

Motherboard: BIOSTAR NF61V Micro AM2
Sound: INTEGRATED AUDIO	Realtek ALC861 6-Channel HD Audio
LAN: Realtek RTL8201CL - Integrated 10/100 Transceiver

If there is a work around please put it in detailed (step by step)
because I am a newbie and want to shift to linux for good.
