[Bug 136239] [gutsy] kernel freezes at start up

Problem:
Laptop freezes during start up. (Not hangs)

Detailed information:
I rebooted in verbose mode, and I realized that the kernel freezes just after (or during) the Network configuration. I have been doing some experiments, and I realized the kernel is still running because when I plug/unplug the ethernet cable it shows "eht0 link is up / down" . So, I guess that means that the kernel is not 'dead'. (If somebody know how to take the  log of the kernel, I'll do that ). So, maybe the problem is related with the airport module... I'll check it.

Cause:
Upgrading the system to gutsy. So, upgrading from kernel 2.6.20 to 2.6.22 .
