the 20060928 daily alternate image works with GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 with cdrom attached to ide and sata drive attached to jmicron (purple connector). drives attached to ich8 are not recognized. also jmicron sata must be set to ahci in the bios. -- JMicron PATA/SATA Controller does not work https://launchpad.net/bugs/57502
