wow... are you psychic? I am literally working on this RIGHT now! Thats both
amazing and kind of creepy.

Anyway, the short answer is yes and no. I've bought a cheapo usb sound card
(the kind with the sound jacks in the back) and I've found that the latest
dapper upgrades detect that nicely. Then if I use the alsa packages from
edgy I sort of get sound. I say sort of because I broke my system so badly
installing edgy that I had to reinstall before I really experimented yet.
I'll probably get just the alsa packages from edgy next and see how that
works.
