I have the same problem here. If I could just remove the NVRAM cell...

Well, is it me or am I seeing a pattern here? All laptops reported to
have this issue are Dell. Dimension & Inspiron.

My old laptop (inspiron 1150) has not been upgraded. And I guess I will
when the bug is fixed :-)
