Public bug reported:

i just installed the ALSA drivers for my sound card (sound blaster live
24 bit) and it works and everything

but the volume control on the panel does not change the right channel.
when i press the volume button on my keyboard (which basically controls
the volume control on the panel) it changes "Analog C", and that channel
does not do anything to the volume of the sound, when in reality the
channel that needs to be changed is "Analog F"

There should be a feature in "volume control" that allows you to choose what channel "volume control" , well controls.

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.12 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed
