I did, but it worked really bad. I had to increase txpower to 20 (which
I was told could damage the card) and still when pinging I had 98% of
lost packages.

Dmesg | grep acx kept giving messages about a too low txpower and when
loading driver (modprobe acx) I got error messages saying " tiacx100c0D
firmware not provided". Now it works really fine.

Oh. And my card is dwl-520+. I got it working several hours ago after
some effort, but when I have some free time I'll play with the default
ubuntu firmware versions. Maybe it wasn't necessary to install
additional files to get the card working. We'll see.
