Firstly, re the e1000 problem - has it ever worked, or is this a regression in -22.34? This code doesn't seem to have changed lately.

Hm. The ipw3945 thing is more interesting. If you echo enable > /proc/acpi/ibm/bluetooth does bluetooth get enabled?

The Atheros issue is a problem in linux-restricted-modules. I've Cc:ed Adam.
