Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/33269

Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Major
       Priority: Medium
       Assignee: Ubuntu Kernel Team
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
After upgrading from Breezy system does not boot. I choose default
kernel image from grub, system starts to load but after few seconds
drops to a busybox shell crying:

ALERT! /dev/sda1 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!

It looks like driver for SATA is broken. My system is sempron asus
K8N4-E on nforce4 chipset. I use dapper for 64bit.

Other kernels don't work either.

Installer does not detect harddrive.
