Public bug reported:
Support for the NICs in my system was removed between 2.6.15-23 and
2.6.15-25.
My Devices (via 'lspci -v'):
0000:00:05.0 Ethernet controller: Davicom Semiconductor, Inc. 21x4x DEC-Tulip compatible 10/100 Ethernet (rev 31)
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 160, IRQ 7591936
I/O ports at 2010100 [size=256]
Memory at 000001ff00002000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256]
Expansion ROM at 0000000000100000 [disabled] [size=256K]
Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 2
0000:00:0c.0 Ethernet controller: Davicom Semiconductor, Inc. 21x4x DEC-Tulip compatible 10/100 Ethernet (rev 31)
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 160, IRQ 7591232
I/O ports at 2010000 [size=256]

If you do "modinfo tulip" for the 2.6.15-23 kernel, it includes these two lines:
alias: pci:v00001282d00009102sv*sd*bc*sc*i*
alias: pci:v00001282d00009100sv*sd*bc*sc*i*
That's the only difference between the tulip modules in 2.6.15-23 and
2.6.15-25 that I can determine.
cat /proc/bus/pci/devices shows my two ethernet devices as (while booted
into 2.6.15-23):
0028 12829102 73d800 1fe02010101 1ff00002000 0 0 0 0 1ff00100001 100 100 0 0 0 0 40000 tulip
0060 12829102 73d540 1fe02010001 1ff00000000 0 0 0 0 1ff00040000 100 100 0 0 0 0 40000 tulip
** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Untriaged
Status: Unconfirmed
