Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32088

Affects: linux-source-2.6.12 linux-image-2.6.12-10-386 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
My orinoco/prism pcmcia network card works fine initially. But after a
while, it gets flaky: the light will blink for seconds or minutes before
reconnecting, no matter how close I am to the AP. I've tried with
several different cards. dmesg shows these messages:

[260558.164000] eth0: IRQ handler is looping too much! Resetting.
[260560.251000] eth0: New link status: Connected (0001)
[260637.400000] eth0: IRQ handler is looping too much! Resetting.
[260638.114000] eth0: New link status: Connected (0001)

It seems to be more likely to happen after I've resumed from hibernate;
I'm not sure whether it has happened when I haven't first hibernated.
Rebooting usually sets things right.

The laptop is a Vaio SR17, if that matters, and the AP has low-grade WEP
enabled.
