with 686 kernel and smp-alt-disable, it freezes too (approx 5-10 minutes uptime after boot).
Concluding my previous test, i've been running 4 days with the 386 kernel (24 hours a day doing very various things, sometimes a reboot when dist-upgrade tell me to) without a freeze.
