I should mention that before the error mentioned above the kernel shows 4 messages about a bad crc in one of my hard disks. I've put that hard disk in the same ide channel as the CD-ROM drive, and the kernel continues giving me same messages, but this time it boots succesfully (well, I think with DMA disabled in that hard disk).

With 2.6.9, 2.6.10 and 2.6.12 that didn't happen, I got no error messages, very weird.
