[Bug 41654] Unplugging drive-bay causes system freeze, worked in Breezy

Description:
My laptop (Dell Inspiron 8600c) with the following specs:
 - Intel Pentium M 1.6 GHz (Dothan core)
 - 768 MB DDR-RAM
 - nVidia GeForce FX 5200 Go (32 MB VRAM)
 - Some Dell DVD-ROM

If I plug out the DVD-ROM from the drive bay (to insert a second
battery) the whole system freezes about  a second after unplugging. This
worked in Breezy. I don't know how to get some more information as it's
nearly impossible to see what does happen...
