There are minor problems outside of X (occassional key skips), and major
problems inside X (frequent key skips, key repeats). The problems inside
X only occur with Dapper (using both 2.6.15 and 2.6.12), the problems
outside of X occur under both 2.6.15 and 2.6.12.
