Public bug reported:

Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
This just looks to be a simple reversal of logic, but maybe it's more
complex. On my Canonical-Issued Toshiba Tecra A4, there is a wireless
killswitch on the front. I tried to pull an IP with this off and this is
what dmesg says:

Kill switch must be turned off for wireless networking to work.

Note that the killswitch is already off. I turn it on and try to pull an
IP again and it works with no error message.
