Ok, I take that back. Here's what I get a few minutes later:
eth1: no IPv6 routers present

ipw2200: Failed to send TX_POWER: Command timed out.
ipw2200: Failed to send TX_POWER: Command timed out.
ipw2200: Failed to send TX_POWER: Command timed out.
ipw2200: Failed to send TX_POWER: Command timed out.
ipw2200: Failed to send TX_POWER: Command timed out.
ipw2200: Unabl to initialize device after 5 attempts.
ipw2200: Failed to up device
My connection is then broken.
