[Bug 38884] rtl818x - System hangs when uploading files.

Description:
Today i was trying to upload some files to the ftp server and my
computer died without any feedback, no oopses, nothing on the screen
(tried on a text terminal, outside of my X session).

I've noticed that it happens when uploading files bigger than a few
kilobytes, and only on k7 kernel images. 2.6.15-20-386 works fine.

The lspci reports my card is a:
