Public bug reported:
Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
With network-manager, the Airport Extreme (on ppc) works smooth as silk
with the current (20.30) kernel. Even without the initial iwconfig calls
that are required to make it work with ifupdown :).
However, it still needs manual intervention after resuming. After that,
scanning for networks (or connecting to the previous SSID) doesn't work
any more. I have to manually do 'iwconfig ethX rate auto', then it works
again.
Is it possible to fix that in the driver itself, so that we don't need
to spread a special /etc/apm/resume.d script?
