Update: just installed Colony 5 with the brand new 2.6.12-9 kernel, and things
seem to have changed a bit:
Now it hangs for 20+ seconds right from the start, then only, does it print the
usual cp/too messages on the screen.
Seems trivial, but if that wasn't done on purpose, then maybe that can give a
clue of some sort ??
I really would like to sort this out, because it used to work fine and also, it
completely ruins the benefit and effect, of the otherwise very nice "usplash"
thing...
