I've just compiled kernel 2.6.14 from source. It seems to me that Benh has fixed
the bug for me : SMU-based powermacs and imac are now supported by the kernel.
The fans seem to be managed by the kernel.
Hope there will soon be a new kernel package for Ubuntu...
