This appears to be working now. i checked in us-west-2 and us-east-1. i
don't see any outage reports on http://status.aws.amazon.com/.
it sounds like it might be a transient s3 apt mirror issue, i'll keep an
eye on it (ie. cron job updating every 5 minutes). If it happens again let
