Title:
Unable to save or attach email attachments since upgrading to 22.04
from 20.04
Status in ubuntu-meta package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
This bug reporting process is very cumbersome. I tried using the
update-bug application but none of the available options were
relevant. If I selected other, I was forced to select a package. How
am I supposed to know what package the bug is in? So I just picked one
so I could get by this nonsensical barrier.
As for the bug I am trying to report: since upgrading to 22.04 last
week from 20.04, I have been unable to save attachments to my local
disk from Gmail in Chrome or Firefox. Everything appears to work
however the file is never actually saved to the file system.
Also, when I drag files from the Files app to the browser, either to
upload to Jira or attach to Gmail, it appears to work but the
attachment is never actually uploaded.
