Title:
Apport eats system without being asked

Status in apport package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: apport

Since apport runs gdb without asking the user it might very well kill
the system (close to that in any case) through debugging.

  Example:
  - java crashes
  - at some point apport decided to show up (which in my experience can be now or in one week)
  - apports eats all memory
  - apachelogger is getting seriously upset because he actually wanted to fix a bug

  Also see attached screenshot
