Title:
grub menu freeze
Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
The grub menu will freeze (hard, need to physically hit the reset
switch as ctrl+alt+del won't work) when keeping a key pressed ie down
arrow or editing the config live and moving around when HPET is
enabled. If HPET is disabled from the bios the problem no longer
occurs. This is for ubuntu 12.10. grub2 common is at version
2.00-7ubuntu.
