Title:
Wubi installs but no Ubuntu entry in Grub
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
Pressing the SKIP button in Ubiquity during a WUBI install stops the package lupin being installed with the result that grub cannot detect the loopmounted install.
After completing the installation, wubildr still retrieves the grub menu from the root.disk but only the external OS's are available (usually just Windows).
When you chroot into the wubi install you can see that everything is
there except not the lupin packages and the 10_lupin scripts in
/etc/grub.d/ that are required to get the wubi install added to
grub.cfg.
