[Bug 1796611] [NEW] Ubiquity 18.04.14.8 crashes

I'm not really sure what is triggering the issue. I've tried to update
Ubiquity to the latest available version, but still cannot start the
installation. Without updating Ubiquity, I cannot ever start the
installer.

I found that people with HiPDI monitors ― I have a HP 23.8-inch FHD IPS
VH240a ― had issues while trying to install 18.04 and solved them
setting the Monitor scaling to 100%. This setting is already at 100% on
my system.

If this might help, this is the hardware on my desktop:
Intel i7-8700K
Asus Rog Strix Z370-E
MSI GTX 1080 8GB
Corsair 2x16GB DDR4 3200
