Bug description:
  Test Case:
  1. Download opera deb file from opera.com
  2. Run the file to launch gnome-software
  3. Install it
  4. Proceed with the debconf prompt

  Actual result
  It hangs and generate this crashes when the user closes the debconf window.

  The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding gnome-software.  This problem was most recently seen with package version 3.26.0-0ubuntu3, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/f111546905209e7288c7f8ba5f8f19eea4d97bad contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.
