Thank you.Was thinking of doing what you said but I ran Boot Repair and
it fixed the problem. :)

Title:
  Grub installation crashed

Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I was trying to install ubuntu 16.04 alongside windows. I created one
  ext4 partition for '/' and one partition for swap. Everything was fine
  until grub installation which failed and I got an error saying 'Grub
  installation failed and the installed system won't boot'.
