Title:
Installer crashes when installing grub on dual-boot Dell XPS 15 9550
Status in grub-installer package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Installer crashes when trying to install Ubuntu on a dual-boot Dell
XPS 15 9550 with a Samsung NVM drive where the Linux partition is
encrypted. Error message is "grub-efi-amd64-signed failed to install
into /target/"
I have tried to run grub-install from recovery and boot-repair with boot summary, all fails. The errors and boot summary info are documented in this unsolved support thread.
