Then there is a problem in the installer : the partition choosed for
boot loader installation must be marked as "Reserved BIOS boot area",
but it is not possible to create and format such partition with the
installer : the "format" checkbox is disabled for partition type
"Reserved BIOS boot area.

  Invalid

Bug description:
  While installing Ubuntu on a existing drive, i choose a new partition
  for the boot loader. This partition is on the middle of the disk. It
  let me do ti but seems it does not work.
