You tried to install the boot loader ( grub ) to the first disk (
/dev/sda ), but this disk contains Windows only and is partitioned using
GPT. To install grub to a GPT partitioned disk in a bios booting PC
like yours, it requires a 1 mb bios_grub partition on the disk. You
will need to either create such a partition on that disk, or install
grub to the other disk where you installed Ubuntu to, and change your
bios boot order to boot from that drive.
** Changed in: grub-installer (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Invalid
