I cannot reproduce it in Utopic, is this again a valid bug or it is fixed somewhere ?

Bug description:
  Trying to burn any ubuntu iso ( tried 14.04, 13.10, and 12.04 ) to a
  usb stick fails with:

  An uncaught exception was raised: Invalid version string 'GNU/Linux'

  apt-cache policy usb-creator-gtk
  usb-creator-gtk:
