Title:
usb stick does not automount after attempting to "Erase" it via usb-
  creator

Status in “usb-creator” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:

1: log in as normal user
2: insert usb stick and observe that Ubuntu auto mounts it.
3: launch usb-creator-gtk from terminal via sudo to avoid stupidity with policy kit
4: select usb stick in usb-creator-gtk window
  5: Click Erase Disk
  6: Get an error box
  7: Close error box
8: Realize usb-creator is now stuck. Close it.
9: Eject the usb stick via file browser
10: remove usb stick, count to 10, re-insert usb stick.
  11: Stick no longer automounts.
  12: Try 10 again
13: Still no auto-mount of htat stick. USB Creator broke it.

  NOW:

  In terminal:
sudo mkfs.vfat /dev/sdX1 (Partition on your USB stick that usb-creator broke)

then remove stick and re-insert it and Ubuntu will once again
recognize the disk and mount it automatically on insert.
