Public bug reported:

I noticed that my timezone was set to Copenhagen. When I set the
timezone to Brussels (which is the same timezone as Copenhagen, by the
way), the timezone of Brussels as well as those of Copenhagen is set in
the standard clock-applet (see image appended).

sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
Current default time zone: 'Europe/Brussels'
Local time is now: Thu Jan 2 15:11:56 CET 2014.
Universal Time is now: Thu Jan 2 14:11:56 UTC 2014.

cat /etc/timezone
Europe/Brussels

Now when one clicks on the Copenhagen-field in the clock-applet, the Brussels-field disappears! And cat /etc/timezone
returns now Europe/Copenhagen
