click itself doesn't have anything that would constantly respawn, so in
any case it must be something else that's responsible.  As I understand
it, this was actually fixed in https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/indicator-datetime/13.10.0+14.04.20140205-0ubuntu1.  Let me know if
it's still a problem.

  Since a couple of days ago, when the "click" package made it into
  trusty, my system has a "click" process that keeps dying and spawning
  all the time in a matter of seconds. This consumes resources, mainly
  CPU as seen by running top.
