  Installation "lost" two of my disks

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  I did a fresh install (over an existing 10.10 install) with 11.04.

  I have 5 SATA disks; 4 on the main motherboard controller, 1 hanging
  off a RAID card (not running in RAID "mode"). During installation,
  because I couldn't assign custom mount points to these disks, I left
  the partitions unmapped.

  Now I am unable to mount two of the five disks; sda1 and sdd1. Both of
  these are identified in disk utility and by path, but do not  have
  uuids. When I attempt to mount them, mount says "wrong fs type, bad
  option, bad superblock on /dev/sda1, missing codepage or helper
  program, or other error". Dmesg shows:
