I re-run the upgrade now with guest additions installed.

Status in “ubuntu-release-upgrader” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I got a message:
  Could not determine the upgrade
  An unresolvable problem occured while calculating the upgrade...

  I am running Kubuntu 12.04_32 (fully upgraded) under Virtualbox on
  on Fedora 20_64.
