Title:
  Swap not mounting after install

Status in “util-linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
It appears that several people have identified that the swap partition
is not being mounted from /etc/fstab

When identified people are recognizing the UUID is misidentified in
/etc/fstab. blkid -m provides the correct UUID which can then be
copied to /etc/fstab and the swap partition can then be mounted.

This seems to me to be a critical issue especially for less than
experienced users who don't have enough knowledge to realize there is
any problem let alone identify it.

It appears this may be affecting; Hardy, Intrepid and also some recent
  releases of ArchLinux and Debian.

I haven't experienced the problem myself, but I don't have an ubuntu
system availalbe where I am at the moment, and I thought this was
critical enough that I should report this bug so it can be identified.
