Reviewing the files from your upgrade attempt you seem to have enabled
the xorg-edgers-ppa.  This will prevent the upgrade as that PPA contains
different versions of packages essential to Ubuntu.  The page,
https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa, contains details on to
how to revert to the official Xorg packages.

  Impossible to upgrade from 13.04 to 13.10

Bug description:
  I have been trying to upgrade from Ubuntu 13.04 to Ubuntu 13.10 for a
  month already and I can't. I guess, that my problem is the same of
  this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1212025 , and despite its
  current status is Fix Released I am still unable to upgrade, I have
  tried to delete old files from /etc/apt/ , delete all the stuff of
  /etc/apt/sources.list.d/, updating apt-clone, but nothing worked.
