This looks fine to me.  Having reviewed the code branch, I think in some
ways this is actually a reduction in complexity (by way of having fewer
odd exceptions); and, without this, we have an important full-system
regression from precise to quantal because there would be no way to
install a desktop system with full-disk encryption unless you were
prepared to use the whole disk for it.
