  $grub-install
  Installation finished. No error reported.
  
- - upgrade GRUB packages to 2.00-4ubuntu1  (http://paste.ubuntu.com/1209263)
+ - from a Quantal install (with grub2.00-4ubuntu1), or a Precise with grub2.00-4ubuntu1  (http://paste.ubuntu.com/1209263)
  $grub-install
  grub-install  : source_dir doesn't exist. Please specify --target or --directory
