[Bug 1050350] [NEW] a-10 4600m boots to black screen unless nomodeset option in grub with kernel newer than 3.2

I was very excited to try out the new beta but couldn't get it to boot
without the nomodeset option. This problem also comes up If I upgrade
the kernel to 3.4 or 3.5 in 12.4. I think it might be a problem with
some trinity chips. I have tried using the discrete gpu (7490) disabled
enabled I have no idea why lenovo chose to put a weaker discrete chip
than the integrated one.
